
Dr. Richard Foxx is a Professor of Psychology and coordinator of the ABA master’s program at Penn State Harrisburg. He is a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the Penn State College of Medicine and the Clinical Research Advisor for the New England Center for Children. He has written or co-edited seven books, written over 130 scientific publications, made 13 training films, and given over 1,500 talks. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Behavioral Interventions and is on the editorial board of five journals. He is a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, American Psychological Society, and the American Association on Mental Retardation. He was the President of the Association for Behavior Analysis in 1995. He has received Lifetime Achievement and Significant Contributions Awards from the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis and is an honorary member of the Norwegian Association for Behavior Analysis. He was the first President and serves as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association for Behavior Analysis. He has been an expert witness in many court cases including before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. His book Toilet Training in Less Than a Day has sold over two million copies and been translated into seven languages, and his training film, “Harry,” has won numerous cinematic awards.
