Mission/Objectives
The mission of the Behavior Development Bulletin is to provide behavior analysts with peer-reviewed scientific information of interest to the behavior community, including research in cognitive development, child emotional development, developmental theory, and socialization. Since its inception, the Behavior Development Bulletin has published articles of an inter- and multidisciplinary nature including areas of socio-biology and behavioral methodology.
Description of Membership
We have been working on increasing our membership. Currently, we have about 30 members, including several founding members and students.
Annual or Recurring Events
Our SIG dinner at the ABAI convention, usually on Saturdays, is well attended by many students and faculty.

Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts
More generally, the SIG examines also how different theoretical positions, within and without behavior analysis, approach identical questions. The historical bases of behaviorism, and of behavior analysis as a scientific or applied field, may be examined also.
