Mission/Objectives

According to its bylaws, Norwegian ABA is dedicated to the development and dissemination of behavior analysis. This includes the full scope of the field: experimental, conceptual, and applied.

Description of Membership

Membership is open. The majority of members are psychologists, as well as other professionals within the fields of health care and education.

Recurring Annual Events

An annual convention in the spring.

Journals/Publications

The Norwegian Journal for Behavior Analysis, published quarterly, and The European Journal of Behavior Analysis, published twice a year.

Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts

Membership in this chapter is of interest to behavior analysts because of its unique organization, which has made it proportionally the largest behavior analytic organization in the world in relation to population size, and provided the opportunity to make an impact on health care and educational policies and priorities.
