Mission/Objectives
Iceland ABA's (ICEABA) goals are to disseminate and promote behavior analysis, support behavior analytic research, communicate with and support students interested in the field, correspond with behavior analytic associations around the world, and to support the establishment of a union of behavior analysts.
Description of Membership
Currently ICEABA's members are students, teachers, social facilitators, psychologists, parents, and behavior analysts. According to ICEABA's bylaws, membership is open to anyone who supports the stated goals of the association.
Annual or Recurring Events
The annual meeting is held each May and is open to all members. This meeting is the highest decision-making body of the chapter. Coffee house meetings are held regularly where members present their research findings or present interesting behavior analytic topics, and lively group discussion ensues. Conferences on behavior analysis will be held regularly, with the next conference scheduled for the fall of 2011.
