Mission Statement

The mission of the Delaware Valley Association for Behavior Analysis (DVABA) is to bring together new and established behavior analysts from the local region (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland) in an informal and informative setting. Our objective is to provide continuing education for behavior analysts in an informal setting that has the atmosphere of a social gathering. This approach has been very successful at assembling behavior analysts during busy workweeks. Another primary goal of DVABA is to increase cohesiveness among local behavior analysts who might otherwise be isolated as a result of working in diverse settings with service providers and researchers who are not behavior-analytic. Many of our members are the only behavior analysts at their places of employment.

Description of Membership

The members of DVABA are local behavior analysts from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland who are interested in interacting with other behavior analysts, and learning about other behavior analysts in the region.

Annual or Recurring Events

DVABA hosts three to four events per year as part of our ongoing lecture series.

Newsletter/Publications

Information about upcoming events is posted on the DVABA website and distributed via e-mail.

Specifically of Interest to Behavior Analysts

DVABA is of interest to local behavior analysts because it provides a forum for behavior analysts in the four states to share information.
