Mission/Objectives

The Four Corners Association for Behavior Analysis (4-Corners ABA) is an independent, non-profit, professional organization affiliated with the Association for Behavior Analysis, an international organization dedicated to promoting the experimental, theoretical, and applied analyses of behavior. Our members reside, teach, conduct research and practice primarily in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.

The purpose of 4-Corners ABA is to promote the science of behavior and evidence-based technologies derived from the basic science. The organization objectives are:

Description of Membership

Membership is open to all persons interested in or engaged in teaching, research, and/or application of the principles and procedures of behavior analysis.

A member in good standing will have fully paid dues for the current year. Any person desiring membership needs to complete the prescribed application form and submit it to the Secretary of the Association. Such applications will be subject to consideration by the Membership Committee.

Membership Benefits: Members of Four Corners ABA receive inclusive convention registration, Type 2 CEUs for Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and the 4C-ABA Electronic Newsletter.

Full Members - Full member dues help support the annual meeting held in April. Additional Benefits: voting rights on 4C-ABA business matters and participation in the nominations and election of officers. BCBA and BCABA full members that attend the entire annual meeting will also receive Type 2 CEUs at no additional cost. Requirement: Must hold at least a Master’s degree in experimental psychology, behavior analysis or a field directly related to behavior analysis. Submissions are subject to review by the Membership Committee. Send vita and course records when requesting this status for the first time. Full Members of ABA International (in good standing) applying for Full Member 4C-ABA are welcome to join without submitting supporting documentation.

Supporting Full Members - Through increase dues, Supporting Full members help support the annual meeting held in April, and to support 4C-ABA capacity to offer BCBA and BCABA CEUs at no cost to practitioners, thereby promoting the competency of practitioners of Behavior Analysis. Additional Benefits: Citation in the 4C-ABA Newsletter and the Convention Program. Requirement: Same as Full member.

Affiliate Members – for individuals who have and interest in behavior analysis and have completed undergraduate credit, but do not meet the full member education requirements. Dues help support the annual meeting held in April. Requirement: Send a letter of recommendation from a voting member of 4C- ABA.

Student Members – full-time undergraduate or graduate students, residents, or interns. Requirements: Send documentation of full-time student, intern, or resident status by an official of the training institution with your application.
