Direct Instruction
By Dr. Cathy Watkins
The Direct Instruction Special Interest Group (DI SIG) of the Association for Behavior Analysis Internationalis a group of behavior analysts interested in the design and delivery of Direct Instruction programs. The goal of the DI SIG is to promote research and disseminate information about Direct Instruction within the field of behavior analysis.
The DI SIG did not meet at the 2006 convention. However, we enjoyed meeting in San Diego in May 2007 and revitalizing the SIG. We strongly encourage anyone with interest in Direct Instruction to join the DI SIG. To become a member, simply email cwatkins@csustan.edu.
The Association for Direct Instruction held its 33rd annual conference and training institutes July 22-26, 2007 in Eugene, Oregon. For information about the conference, go to adihome.org.
