Dr. Michael Dougher is Professor of Psychology and Associate Vice President for Research at the University of New Mexico. He received his Ph.D. in 1980 in clinical and experimental psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the Editor of The Behavior Analyst (TBA), past Associate Editor of TBA and the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, and sits on the editorial boards of The Analysis of Verbal Behavior and the International Journal of Psychology and Psychological Therapy. Dr. Dougher is a Fellow of Division 25 (Behavior Analysis) of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science. In addition he is Past President of Division 25 of the APA, a member of the boards of both the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis and the Cambridge Center for Behavior Analysis, and is Division 25 Representative to the APA Committee on Clinical Specialization. Among other honors, Dr. Dougher received the 2008 APA/ABAI Don Hake Award for Translational Research.
